During the months after the conference, we aim to provide the new initiatives from the conference in Mannheim with the knowledge they need to turn their ideas into action:                  
Additionally to the network we create during the summit in Mannheim, together with the elected projects, we coorganize a coaching weekend, where the project-leaders will get in direct contact with experts in project managements. In thesee coaching-sessions the young changemakers learn soft skills (e.g. fundraising, public relations, teambuilding, moderation skills, etc.) that will be necessary to realize their ideas.

The follow-up-process will last nearly one year. During this year, we offer the elected projects many different possibilities. For example: Contact to the Right Livelihood Laureates, connection to our supporters and partners, subdomain and webspace at www.youthfutureproject.org, spreading of your prject news using our social media accounts (facebook, vimeo, twitter, active collab, flickr etc.) as well as collaboration with our mentors and advisors who have great experience with developing projects and increasing their impact.

In addition we want to ask the laureates if they would offer their patronage or mentorship to some of the projects, which will initiated during the ViA-Conference. Such a patronage can help you in many different ways increasing the impact of your project. We ourself experienced that.

We aim, to provide some initial funding (1.000€/elected project) for the elected projects. At the moment we can not guarantee you this possibility, as we are discussing it with our donors and supporters. Depending on how succesful our fundraising will be, we hope to be able to provide this “ViA-Project-Scholarship” to up to three projects.
